Electro Mart Limited (EML) was founded in 1980 as an electronic company in Bangladesh. It is one of the largest electronics and home appliances companies in Bangladesh. Since its inception, the company has been contributing in the electronics industry of Bangladesh. Electro Mart offers a wide range of electronics and home appliances products such as Air Conditioner, Refrigerator & Freezer, KONKA TV, Kitchen Appliances, Small Appliances, Washing Machine, Fan & Cooler, and more. The company is the sole distributor of GREE Air Conditioner and KONKA (Chinese Brand) electronics products. 'HAIKO' brand's electronic products is one of the inventions (own brand) of Electro Mart. Nationwide it has more than 50 outlets where Electro Mart sales and displays its products.
Electro Mart Limited's Chairman is Mr. Md Nurun Newaz Salim, a renowned industrialist and entrepreneur in Bangladesh, born in Feni district. At present, Mr. Md. Nurul Afsar is the Deputy Managing Director (DMD) of Electro Mart.
EML expanded business arena through establishing the Electro Mart Group; founded by three brothers namely - Mr. Md Nurul Amin, Mr. Mohammad Nurussafa Majumder, and Mr. Md Nurul Afsar. Presently, more than 7,000 people employed at Electro Mart Group.
EML established another company namely Trade International Industries Ltd (TIIL) to manufacture and promote KONKA, GREE, and HAIKO brand products. TIIL plant is located at Sonargaon Industrial Area, Narayanganj.
