Gulshan Youth Club (GYC), a non-profit and non-political organization, was founded in 1977 holding the slogan "Sports & Beyond". The organization mainly promotes various sports (e.g. football, cricket, tennis, hockey, basketball, karate, athletic, and other indoor and outdoor games), socio-cultural, community and youth activities in Gulshan, a thana in Dhaka city; enchanted for foreign embassies and corporate offices. Moreover, Gulshan Youth Club offers GYM facilities, Swimming, Walking, Free Medical Center, Children's Corner, Ladies Corner, Senior Citizen Corner, and Badminton Court. GYC's Club team participates in different national tournaments and leagues.
Gulshan Youth Club is located at Gulshan Play Ground, Gulshan, Dhaka. Gulshan Youth Club's President is Mr. Humayun Kabir, and General Secretary is Mr. Md. Showket Hossain Jibon. Any person residing in Gulshan, can be member (such as Honorary Member, Life Member, Permanent, Associate, etc.) of this Club.
