It is the progenitor of H.A. Timber Industries Ltd., founded by late Al-Haj Habibur Rahman in 1966. Following the trend of H.A. Timber, HATIL initiated in the year 1989 by the guidance of Mr. Selim H Rahman, (Chairman of Bangladesh Furniture Industries Owners Association - BFIOA) the present Chairman and Managing Director of the company. Since 2007, the company is practicing "Kaizen", the worldwide recognized Japanese quality management philosophy. HATIL's furniture products are widely recognized, for its unique design, functionality benchmarks and durability, which made from FSC-certified wood. It has many Showrooms in different cities of the country; and also has overseas showrooms in Ontario, Canada and Sydney, Australia; and some new showrooms are under process to be opened in North America and Europe.
