The Basket is a superstore located at Zakir Hossain Road, Khulshi, Chittagong. This is one of the largest superstores in Chattogram. It is owned by The Basket Limited. The Basket was opened in May, 2017. The then Chattogram City Corporation (CCC) Mayor Mr. AJM Nasir Uddin inaugurated 'The Basket' superstore. At 'The Basket' people can shop their needed products/items (from over 40,000 products) such as grocery, bakery, fruits, baby items, snacks, vegetables, fishes, stationary, lifestyle products, pet products and more.
It also takes online order through the website (www.thebasketbd.com) and delivers at customers' doorstep specifically in Chittagong City. By downloading mobile application of the superstore from Google Pay Store, customers can order needed products from their Smartphone. It has cold storage units to preserve respective products; and holds 100% LED Lights in the store. Mr. Mohammad Ishaq is the Chairman of the Managing Body of The Basket; and its Managing Director is Mr. Md Nazmul Hossain.
