United Airways (BD) Ltd obtained its Air Transport Operating License (ATOL) from Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh, to operate its passenger services, on June 28, 2005, and commenced its operation on 10 July 2007. The Head Office of United Airways (BD) is located at Uttara, Dhaka. United Airways Bangladesh (UBD) is a member of Multilateral Interline Traffic Agreements Manual (MITA) and IATA Clearing House (ICH). The Slogan of United Airways (Bangladesh) is “Fly Your Own Airline”. The Chairman and Managing Director of United Airways is Capt. Tasbirul Ahmed Choudhury.
United Airways (BD) Ltd operates its flights on all domestic routes of Bangladesh, and international flights to/from on the international routes of – London, Dubai, Doha, Kuala Lumpur, Kathmandu, Kolkata, Jeddah, Bangkok, Muscat and Singapore. The Airline is going to start flights to Delhi, Karachi & Yangon soon.
