Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board (BREB), also known as Rural Electrification Board (REB), and Rural Electrification Board of Bangladesh, is an ISO 9001:2008 Certified statutory body of Bangladesh Government created in 1977, through REB ordinance LI of 1977 (substituted by Rural Electrification Board Act, 2013), to provide power to rural areas in Bangladesh.
BREB is highly responsible for implementing electrification and its services in countrywide rural areas.
