Southeast University (SEU) is a Govt. approved private university in Dhaka, Bangladesh. SEU was established in 2002 under the Private University Act, 1992. The university has affiliation with the University Grants Commission Bangladesh. Southeast University’s permanent campus is located at Tejgaon Industrial Area in Dhaka which was inaugurated by the Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid, MP on November 19, 2014. SEU has North American Ph.D. Professors and experienced & well qualified full-time teachers. Aside from regular graduate & undergraduate programs, the university also offers evening and holiday classes for MBA, LLB (Pass), LLM & MDS programs.

Honourable President of Bangladesh is the Chancellor of this university. Prof. Dr. Anwar Hossain is the Vice-Chancellor of Southeast University, Bangladesh; and Pro Vice Chancellor is Professor Dr. Md. Humayun Kabir Chowdhury. SEU is going to organize its Fourth (4th) Convocation on January 17, 2015, Saturday.
