Bangladesh Jute Association (BJA) is the apex organization of the jute traders and exporters of Bangladesh. BJA was established in 1949 and known as Pakistan Jute Association (PJA). After the origination of Bangladesh, it was renamed as Bangladesh Jute Association (BJA). Currently, it has about 500 members. BJA is committed to fulfill the demand of its members. Bangladesh Jute Association plays a very significant role for development and regulation of the jute in national and international market. The Association is the terminal platform of the jute traders and exporters of the Country. BJA has three offices located in Dhaka, Narayanganj and Daulatpur, an Upazila of Kushtia District of Bangladesh. Bangladesh Jute Association is headed by a Chairman. Currently, the Chairman of BJA is Mr. Sk. Farook Hossain.
