Bangladesh Land Developers Association (BLDA) is the apex organization of the real estate developers in private sector of Bangladesh. BLDA was established in 2006 under the Companies Act 1994. The Association is registered with the Directorate of Trade Organization, Ministry of Commerce, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Bangladesh Land Developers Association is the Key Voice of the Private Sector Land Developers in the Country. BLDA has affiliation with the Federation of Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI).
During its initiation, there were only 21 members of this organization. Currently, Country’s most of the land developers are member of this Association. Bangladesh Land Developers Association (BLDA) maintains close communication with Government in formulating housing policies and plans, and also creates bridge with other relevant agencies/authorities to promote real estate & housing in the Country. It is the national representative body of the real estate developers in Bangladesh. BLDA takes the plunge to build quality housing and real estate for the nation. The President of Bangladesh Land Developers Association is Ahmed Akbar Sobhan, Chairman of Bashundhara Group.
