Bangladesh Industrial Technical Assistance Centre (BITAC) is a Government body under the Ministry of Industry, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, involved in promoting the national economy through proving industrial technical assistance to the individuals and institutions and creating skilled manpower having industrial technology related knowledge. BITAC was established in 1962 by merging two Govt. institutions – IRDC & PIPS. Since its establishment, the Center is boosting national economy through development of product, process and skilled manpower. It has five associate centers located in Dhaka, Chittagong, Khulna, Bogra, and Chandpur. BITAC is headed by a President who is the Secretary of the Ministry of Industry, Government of Bangladesh.
