Bangladesh Shrimp and Fish Foundation (BSFF) is a non-profit organization promoting the fisheries sector of Bangladesh through research, dialogues, advocacies, conferences and demonstrations. BSFF initiated as a project of USAID. The Foundation was established in 2003 and started functioning since June of the same year. It has been registered under Trust Act 1882. Shrimp and fish sector is the second largest export industry in the country, and has employed a large number of people in its various fields. Bangladesh Shrimp and Fish Foundation is providing adequate services and support to the shrimp and fish industries in order to sustainable development of the sector in the country. BSFF has affiliation with JIFSAN, WorldFish, USAID, Department of Fisheries, Government of Bangladesh; Business Promotion Council (BPC), Bangladesh; and the University of Dhaka.
