Bangladesh Skill Development Institute (BSDI) is a leading government approved educational and training institute located at Dhanmondi in Dhaka, Bangladesh. BSDI is an institute of Daffodil Foundation. Bangladesh Skill Development Institute was established in 2003 aimed to create professional Human Resources through providing wide-ranging education and training in different fields like textile, telecommunication, computer, electrical, civil, garments design & pattern making, dental, pathology, pharmacy, hotel & tourism, fashion & art, etc. Bangladesh Skill Development Institute (BSDI) is accredited and awarded internationally. It is the first and only polytechnic institute in Bangladesh. The Institute has affiliation with Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB), British Council, CTH, UK; Vinsys IT Services, India; IIC, Malaysia; CEA, UK; ATS, India; and SAFT, India. Eligibility for Admission:

- For Diploma in Engineering/ Textile/ Garments Design & Pattern Making/ Health Technology and Services: SSC/Equivalent: GPA 2.5

- For Hotel Management: HSC/Equivalent

According to BSDI, Application submission time is:

- For Diploma in Engineering Program: The Admission procedure starts after the SSC results. There is mainly one session in a year. Students have to follow the admission announcement which is given by the Bangladesh Technical Education Board Authority. Usually the admission procedure starts after May (depending on the SSC Result)

- Diploma and Short Course: Available in Four Session- March, June, September & December. Student must send the application to the authority before month of session start time. The session starts after the 15th of the session month.
