Nagorik Television, a private satellite TV Channel, is owned by Jadoo Media Limited, a sister concern of Mohammadi Group. At present, it broadcasts transmissions through Bangabandhu-1 satellite. Nagorik TV was founded by Mr. Annisul Huq (1952 - 2017), the former mayor of Dhaka North City Corporation, and founder of Mohammadi Group. The head office of Nagorik TV channel is located at Nikunja 2 in Khilkhet, Dhaka. It was formally launched on March 1, 2018. Currently, Nagorik TV's CEO is Dr. Abdun Noor Tushar, and Managing Director is Rubana Huq, the chairperson of Mohammadi Group and current Vice-chancellor of Asian University for Women (AUW). Nagorik TV broadcasts diversified programs consisting of dramas, movie, cooking, lifestyle, music, health, infotainment, cartoons, talk-show, sports, and more.
