Association of Physicians of Bangladesh (APB) was founded in 1989 as a non-governmental, non-profitable and non-political organization of health professionals of Bangladesh. It has over 328 life members; the members are mostly drawn from the arena of medicine. Since its inception, the Organization has been organizing various seminars, workshops, Continuing Medical Education (CME) and more. All of these are for the well-being of the Physicians.
Since 1989, annually it has been organizing Conference and Scientific Seminar. In addition, it publishes an official journal named “Bangladesh Journal of Medicine”. The Journal keeps all the useful information of APB & medicine. Association of Physicians of Bangladesh is a member of United Forum Against Tobacco (UFAT). It has an executive committee of 19 members; they are running the Association according to its own Constitution.
