Bangladesh Madrasha Teachers' Training Institute (BMTTI) was established on 28 December 1995 as a training center which trains up Madrasha Teachers. The Institute is run under the administration of Ministry of Education, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. BMTTI was created mainly for development & enhancement of Madrasha teachers through providing quality training. It is also working for development and modernization of Madrasha Education. The Training Institute is situated at Board Bazar, Gazipur.
Bangladesh Madrasha Teachers' Training Institute (BMTTI) has an academic block, accommodated with administrative unit, computer lab, classroom with modern educational facilities and also has two hostels respectively for male and female trainees. BMTTI is administrated by a ‘Board of Governors’, headed by a President who is the Secretary, Ministry of Education, Government of Bangladesh.
