Published by Asiatic Society of Bangladesh, Banglapedia is the national encyclopedia of Bangladesh. It was first published in January 2003. It is the intellectual outcome of over 1450 scholars of Bangladesh. Banglapedia is combined with ten volumes and has two versions - English and Bangla. It is available in print version, CD-ROM format and online version (at banglapedia.org). As the national encyclopedia, Banglapedia accumulated all branches of knowledge regarding Bangladesh. Thus, it has become a precious store of knowledge to teachers, students, researchers, professionals, and general readers. The updated version or revised second edition was published in 2012.
