Sylhet Gas Fields Limited (SGFL) is a company under PETROBANGLA. SGFL is contributing in discovery and production of natural gas and mineral oil in Bangladesh, especially in Sylhet region. Currently, its products include – Natural Gas, Kerosene, Diesel, Octane, Petrol, and NGL. The Company was founded in 1982. It has historical record to discover the first hydrocarbon gas field in Bangladesh; discovered gas at Haripur, Sylhet in 1955. Sylhet Gas Fields Limited runs following gas fields – Haripur, Kailashtilla, Rashidpur, Beanibazar and Chhatak.
