Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation (BPC) is a statutory organization of the Bangladesh Govt. under the Energy & Mineral Resources Division of the Ministry of Power, Energy & Mineral Resources. It undertakes the responsibility to collect, import, distribute and market the petroleum products in Bangladesh. BPC was established on 13 November 1976 (by the Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation Ordinance – 1976, Ordinance No. 88). Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation started functioning on 1st January 1977. After being collected unrefined petroleum, BPC processes the petroleum and manufactures them in different grades. BPC has a number of Subsidiaries through which it refines and distributes oil and petroleum products in the country.

* Standard Asiatic Oil Company Limited (Located at 4-Shantinagar, Dhaka)
* LP Gas Limited (Established in 1978, and located in Chittagong)
* Eastern Lubricants Blenders Limited
