Bangladesh ICT Journalist Forum (BIJF) was established in 2002 as a professional organization of ICT journalists in Bangladesh. BIJF is representing the journalists who are serving in ICT section of different daily/weekly/monthly newspapers and publications; and also representing the journalists involved in web media, digital media and electronic media.
As a professional organization of ICT journalist of Bangladesh, BIJF unites and creates a bridge among all the journalists working in ICT department of various print, electronic and web media; improves knowledge and duties of relevant field; and organizes seminars, discussions etc. regarding various national and international ICT related issues. It looks after the issues related to its field.
Currently, Bangladesh ICT Journalist Forum (BIJF) is managed by an Executive Committee consists of nine (9) members. The President of BIJF is Muhammad Khan (Senior Sub Editor at Daily Kaler Kantho), Vice President is Tariq Rahman (ICT Departmental Editor at Daily Jugantor), and General Secretary is Arafath Siddiqi Shohag (Staff Reporter at ATN News).
