Since 2011, Bangladesh Urban Forum (BUF) obsessed with Bangladesh's urban issues and working for country's urban future. BUF was founded in December 2011; since then the organization is promoting activities having the vision 'Making Cities and Towns Work for All'. BUF lifts different urban issues through dialogue, exchanging of ideas and knowledge-sharing, public awareness, policy discussion, conference, etc. Bangladesh Urban Forum (BUF) organized the 1st Conference from December 5-7, 2011 at BICC, Dhaka. BUF Secretariat, wing of BUF Inter-ministerial Steering Committee (IMSC), runs with support from the Government of Bangladesh and UNDP.
