Eco-Social Development Organization (ESDO) is a well-known NGO established in April 1988 seeks to promote and enhance the livelihood of the disadvantaged people particularly in the northern part of Bangladesh. ESDO Bangladesh has registered with the Department of Social Service (DSS) in 1988 and NGO Affairs Bureau (NGOAB) in 1993. ESDO has operated its activities in more than 110 upazilas under 26 districts, and directly get in touch with over 5 million poor and vulnerable people in the Country. The Organization is run by a General Body (GB); the GB elects an Executive Committee (EC) consists of 7-member to provide policy guidelines.

Eco-Social Development Organization (ESDO) has accomplishment in the field of social development, agricultural development, food security and disaster management, education, health, nutrition, micro finance and entrepreneurship development, etc. ESDO’s key focus is always given on the marginalized poor people of the Country. Since 1991, the Organization has been involved in the Micro-credit programs with partnership of Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF) and other Government and non-government institutions & organizations.

Eco-Social Development Organization (ESDO) has offices in Dinajpur, Mymensingh, Panchagarh, Nilphamari, Gaibandha, Rangpur, Jamalpur, Chapainawabgonj, Rajshahi, Kurigram, Natore, Sherpur, Lalmonirhat, Sirajgonj, Patuakhali, Bogra, and Barisal.
