Volunteers Association for Bangladesh is a non-profit voluntary organization founded in 1998 mainly working for the improvement of the rural children of Bangladesh through quality education. The Organization has been registered with the State of New York, U.S.A. as a tax-exempt charity organization since March 1999 (U.S. IRS Tax Exempt ID: 13-4034550). Since January 2006, the VAB-Bangladesh has been registered with the Government of Bangladesh (GoB) as a foreign Non-governmental organization (NGO).
Volunteers Association for Bangladesh has been improving & providing various educational facilities for the rural children. It provides books, tutors, scholarships, equipments, and teacher training. The Organization conducts various programs to improve test scores, reduce the primary & high school dropout rate, and improve the standard of living for the students. From primary to higher in all level of education it has immense contribution. Most of the VAB assisted rural high schools and scholarship receivers have done extraordinary performances in all competitive exams held in Bangladesh including SSC & HSC.
