Bangladesh Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BWCCI) is a non-profit, non-political premier umbrella organization of the micro to macro women entrepreneurs in Bangladesh. BWCCI is the first women chamber of commerce in the country. The organization was established in June 2001.
Bangladesh Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry is a registered organization under the Ministry of Commerce, and Joint stock Company, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. It provides support & assistance to the women entrepreneurs of Bangladesh to boost women’s participation in the private sector. BWCCI strives to empower women both in social & economic level.
Since 2008, the Chamber has been an “A” class chamber with the FBCCI. The President of Bangladesh Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry is Mrs. Selima Ahmad, the Vice Chairman & Director (HR) of the Nitol-Niloy Group.
