Dhaka Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DCCI) is a non-profit, service-oriented first ISO 9001-2008 Certified business promotion organization in Bangladesh established in 1958 under the Companies Act 1913 (amended in 1994). Having more than 4000 members, DCCI is now the largest and most dynamic business chamber in Bangladesh. Dhaka Chamber of Commerce & Industry seeks to promote private sector enterprises and businesses of Bangladesh through proper advocacy, awareness building, and policy inputting to the government.
Dhaka Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DCCI) offers four types of membership – General, Associate, Town Association and Trade Group. The members of this Chamber are industrial conglomerates, importers, exporters, manufacturers, traders, and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). DCCI is run by a Board of Directors consists of twenty-four member, drawn from its all classes of membership. The Chamber is headed by a President, elected for one year.
Dhaka Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DCCI) has affiliation with many international organizations including World Bank, UNDP, WTO, UNCTAD, ITC, ESCAP, UNIDO, USAID, CBI, ICC, JICA, GTZ, ZDH, APO, IFC-BICF, SEDF, JETRO,WCC, CCPIT, CIPE and more. Since its establishment, DCCI has been obtained many awards & recognition from different national and international organizations.
