Chittagong Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce & Industry (CMCCI) was established in 2009 as an influential trade body of the business community of port city Chittagong. CMCCI is promoting and facilitating trade, businesses and industry particularly of Chittagong metropolitan area broadly of the country. The Chamber is an active voice for the interests of business of Chittagong region. Chittagong Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce has presence in various government agencies and also supports in policy formulating regarding trade, commerce & industry. It delivers services and works for the interest of its members mainly for business growth. Currently, CMCCI has 550+ members of whom Ordinary Category includes 337 members and Associate Category includes 213 members. Mr. Khalilur Rahman, the founder and chairman of KDS Group, is the current President of Chittagong Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CMCCI).
