The Bengali Association of Dallas Fort Worth (BA-DFW) was established in 1984 as a non-profit Bengali organization of Dallas Fort Worth. As a leading Bengali organization, it lifts Bengali culture & heritage; creates unity among the members; and cherishes social, cultural and religious events in the Dallas and Fort Worth metropolitan areas of North Texas. The Association celebrates social & cultural events like – Durga Puja, Summer Concert, Annual Picnic, Sports Day, Saraswati Puja, Durgotsav, Rabindra-Nazrul Sandhya, etc.
Bengali Association of Dallas Fort Worth draws huge highly-regarded members from West Bengal, Bangladesh and various parts of India residing in Dallas and Fort Worth, Texas, USA. BA-DFW is representing the Bengali community in Dallas/Ft. Worth metropolitan area. It promotes relationship with other organizations having similar interests. The Association runs a Bengali language school to teach Bengali language specially for kids. Through fund raising activities, Bengali Association of Dallas Fort Worth provides community supports and social services in India, Bangladesh and the United States. The President of BA-DFW is Amit Saha.
