Bangladesh Foreign Trade Institute (BFTI) is a not-for-profit institution in Bangladesh providing trade and business related training, research, consulting, policy advocacy and education to the government and private sector officials. BFTI was founded in 2003 mainly to enhance trade and business related knowledge among the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) officials so that they can smoothly manipulate international trade-related issues.
The Institute was built on the notion of the Public-Private Partnerships, also known as PPP, between the Ministry of Commerce (MoC) of the People's Republic of Bangladesh and the Private Sector. From this Institution, through proper research and training all the govt. and private sector officers will be able obtain a clear idea about the business and trade related issues concerning to the public and private sector.
At Bangladesh Foreign Trade Institute (BFTI), the private sector stakeholders are mainly the business associations, chambers of commerce, and industry, and the public sector representatives include the commerce, finance and foreign affairs of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. The Institution offers Diploma in International Trade, Master's in International Trade and Workshops & Seminars concerning to the trade and business.
