Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) is the prime investment promotion agency of Bangladesh Government which was established under the Act 2016 (created on September 01, 2016). BIDA promotes private sector investment in Bangladesh. The organization is highly responsible for the attraction of FDI (Foreign Direct Investment) in the Country. BIDA provides diversified services, supports, investment facilities, and one stop service (OSS) to investors in Bangladesh. Sheikh Hasina (Hon'ble Prime Minister of Bangladesh) is the current Chairman of Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA). BIDA has divisional offices in Dhaka, Barisal, Chittagong, Sylhet, Rajshahi, and Khulna.
