The Board of Investment Bangladesh (BOI Bangladesh) is an autonomous body of Bangladesh Government engaged in promotion of investment in private sector. BOI Bangladesh was born in 1989 by the Investment Board Act. The Board encourages Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in Bangladesh. It provides all the required facilities and supports to the investors to establish industries or invest in Bangladesh.
The Board of Investment Bangladesh finds out hindrances of investment and puts forward support, suggestion and other needed facilities to promote domestic and foreign investment in private sector of Bangladesh. BOI Bangladesh endeavors to create Bangladesh as one of the best destinations of investment so that it can become a middle-income Country by 2021.
It offers PPP (Public-Private Partnership) opportunities in industrial and social infrastructure sectors to promote strategic relationships with the investors. The Board of Investment Bangladesh is managed by the Prime Minister's Office of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh.
