Institute of Health Economics (IHE) under the University of Dhaka is offering different academic/professional degrees in Health Economics (such as BSS Hons, MSS, M. Phil., and Ph. D. in Health Economics), offering short courses, organizing training programs, conducting research on health economic issues, and providing consultancy service in the field of health sector of Bangladesh.
IHE was established in July 1998 to promote health economics in Bangladesh. The Institute of Health Economics in Dhaka University coroneted as the only health economics teaching and research institute in South-Asia. The Institute has linkage, and also promote its various activities in collaboration, with different national or international organizations.
