The Liver Foundation of Bangladesh (LFB) is a non-profit humanitarian organization endeavors to the Prevention, Treatment, Education and Research on liver diseases in Bangladesh. LFB is the first of its kind in Bangladesh. The Liver Foundation of Bangladesh was founded in April 1999 by Prof. Mohammad Ali along with some distinguished liver specialists, well-reputed teachers, medical specialists, and devoted social workers. The Organization started its operations since June 23, 2002. The Liver Foundation of Bangladesh creates mass awareness among the people to prevent of liver diseases in the Country. It provides treatment of liver diseases with minimum cost.
