- One Health Bangladesh
One Health Bangladesh begun journey from the year 2008 as an organization of Professionals, Scientists and Social Workers in Bangladesh. This is a non-profit organization founded to promote health and wellbeing of species including human health, animal health and environmental health.
One Health Bangladesh's setup through a conference held in Chittagong in March 2008 where about twelve government and nongovernment organizations representatives were present. Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (CVASU), Institute of Epidemiology and Diseases Control Research (IEDCR), International Centre for Diarrhoeal Disease Research, Bangladesh (ICDDR, B) and a number of Government and non-government bodies took major initiative to create the One Health Bangladesh.
Today, the organization works with multidisciplinary health related issues of species. It is contributing in policy making, conducting research activities, promoting advocacy, conducting workshop and seminar, and creating networking with different alike agencies and organization. One Health Bangladesh is an associate of One Health Alliance of South Asia (OHASA).
