Textile Engineering College, also known as Jorargonj Textile Engineering College, and Textile Engineering College, Chittagong, is a Textile Engineering Institute located at Jorargonj in Mirsarai, Chittagong. As an educational institution, the Textile Engineering College has a long historical background as it was established in 1911 as a “Peri-patetic Weaving School” which was the result of "Shawdeshi Andullon" during the British regime.

After various dimensions, the College was apparently established in 2006 to meet the demand of Textile Engineers for the Country’s textile sector. It offers 4-year Bachelor of Science degree in Textile Engineering. The College is operated under the administrative control of the Department of Textiles, Ministry of Textile & Jute, Government of Bangladesh (GoB). It has affiliation with the University of Chittagong. Textile Engineering College, Chittagong started its academic operation from the session of 2006 - 2007.

Jorargonj Textile Engineering College is offering 4-year B.Sc. in Textile Engineering with specialization in:
- Yarn Manufacturing Technology
- Fabric Manufacturing Technology
- Garments Manufacturing Technology
- Wet Processing Technology
- Fashion & Design Technology (Proposed)

Admission Criteria: Selection of the student for admission will made through admission test of 200 marks & GPA of S.S.C or equivalent with GPA 3.5 (Excluding 4th sub, not before 2004) & H.S.C. or equivalent having GPA at least 3.5 (Excluding 4th sub.) and on an average at least GPA 4.00 & 4.25 in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics for the students passed in H.S.C Examination in 2007 & 2006 respectively.
