Chittagong BGMEA Institute of Fashion Technology (CBIFT) is one of the renowned educational institutions in Chittagong aimed to create masterly human resources for the RMG sector of Bangladesh. CBIFT was established in 2002 by the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA). The Institute was set up particularly for the prosperity of RMG sector in Chittagong (officially known as Chattogram), the Business City of Bangladesh.

It offers 4-year B.Sc. (Hon’s) in AMT, FDT, and other diploma, certificate, and short courses. In addition, some of the renowned courses like B.Sc. Honors in Knitwear Manufacture & Technology, Textile Management, Textile Engineering, M.B.A., and Diploma in different subjects are going to be added. Chittagong BGMEA Institute of Fashion Technology has standard CAD lab, computer lab, sewing lab, textile testing lab, pattern and product development lab etc. Moreover, it provides air-conditioned classrooms, impressive laboratory, library, students' common room, and more.
