Enam Medical College & Hospital (EMCH) is a Govt. approved reputed private medical college in Bangladesh. Enam Medical College was established in 2003 by Dr. Md. Enamur Rahman. It is located at Savar in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The College is offering five (5) years MBBS course along with one year internship training. It started admitting students for MBBS course from the session 2003-2004. The College admits 140 students per year. From its total seats, it offers twenty five percent (25%) seats for foreign students. Its medium of instruction is in English. Today, Enam Medical College is recognized as one of the best private Medical Colleges in Bangladesh.
The institution possessed its own college & hospital buildings laid on about 4 acres of land at Savar, Dhaka. It has a 750-bedded hospital having modern outdoor & indoor facilities and excellent tertiary care Centre including ICU, CCU, NICU, Kidney dialysis etc. Enam Medical has more than twelve (12) operation theatres having C-arm and ultramodern sterilization system.
Enam Medical College & Hospital (EMCH) is recognized by Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC) and Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS). The college also obtained recognition from World Health Organization (WHO), International Medical Education Directory (IMED), FAIMER and AVISINA. In addition, Enam Medical has affiliation with the University of Dhaka.
Enam Medical College & Hospital has obtained huge reputation from home and abroad for its academic excellence and remarkable humanitarian service, particularly during the time of 'Rana plaza building collapse' (also known as 'Savar Tragedy'). Dr. Md. Enamur Rahman is the Chairman of EMCH.
