International University of Business Agriculture and Technology (IUBAT) is a reputed government approved private university in Dhaka, Bangladesh established under the Private University Act 1992. IUBAT was established in 1991 by its current Vice Chancellor (VC) Professor Dr. Md Alimullah Miyan. The university is a member of Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU). Having an agreement with Assumption University of Bangkok, Thailand; it started its Degree programs in 1992. The permanent campus of IUBAT is located on the bank of river Turag, Uttara, Dhaka on 5½ acres of own land. It has internationally recognized having links with seventy-six (76) universities abroad including those in USA, Canada, Australia, Europe with credit transfer facilities. Currently, International University of Business Agriculture and Technology has six (6) colleges and nine (9) centers. It is offering various undergraduate, postgraduate and diploma courses focusing on the areas of business, agriculture and technology.

Currently, IUBAT has six (6) colleges:
- College of Business Administration (CBA)
- College of Agricultural Science (CAS)
- College of Engineering and Technology (CEAT)
- College of Nursing (CN)
- College of Arts and Sciences (CAAS)
- College of Tourism and Hospitality Management (CTHM)

IUBAT also has nine (9) centers:
1. Center for Global Environment Culture (CGEC)
2. Center for Policy Research (CPR)
3. Center for Management Development (CMD)
4. Computer Education and Training Center (CETC)
5. Center for Technology Research and Consultancy (CTRTC)
6. Center for Counseling and Guidance (CCG)
7. South Asian Disaster Management Center (SADMC)
8. Health and Population Center (HPC)
9. English Language Center (ELC)
