The Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) is a Bangladesh Government's organization which was established in the year 1976; conducting disease surveillance and outbreak investigation in the Country. It has active participation and contribution in different national health programs and health related issues like coronavirus disease (COVID-19), Arsenicosis, infectious disease surveillance, reproductive health, HIV/AIDS, malaria, health care management, seasonal health disease surveillance, etc.; and regarding these issues IEDCR organizes training, workshops, meeting, and conducts research and so on. And has collaboration with agencies like WHO, UNICEF, UNDP, DFID, JICA, Family Health International, CARE and more. IEDCR's headquarter is located at Mohakhali in Dhaka, Bangladesh. At present IEDCR's Director is Prof. Dr. Meerjady Sabrina Flora.
