The Anwer Khan Modern Medical College is a Govt. approved private medical college located at Dhanmondi in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The Medical College was established in the year 2008 by Anwer Hossain Khan. Having affiliated with the University of Dhaka, the College offered 5-year Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) course and one (1) year internship training.
Since 2009, Anwer Khan Modern Medical College Hospital has been recognized by Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC), and it strictly follows BMDC provided curriculum. It has a 450-bedded hospital having all treatment facilities. Generally, its academic session starts from January of each year or as notice of the Govt. of Bangladesh.
Anwer Khan Modern Medical College (AKMMC) has a modern library with over 1565 books & journals; and also has links with 16 international medical journals. Mr. Anwer Hossain Khan is the Chairman of Anwar Khan Modern Medical College.
