The institute was founded in 2019 by Mr. Hasan Mahmood Raja. MARMA celebrated its Foundation Day on 14 January 2020. It is a non-profit educational institution which is an initiative of United Trust.
MARMA provides education in English Version/Medium under National Curriculum; currently from Nursery to Class Five. The School's overall activities are centrally managed and guided by Bangladesh Digital Education & Research Limited (BDERL), an associate of United Trust. M A Rashid Memorial Academy’s Principal is Mr. Mohammad Masuqur Rahman.
