Shuchona Foundation (SF) was founded in 2014 as a non-profit and non-governmental organization (NGO) that works broadly on autism and mental health related issues. Based on Neurodevelopmental disorders (NDDs) and mental health, the organization promotes its activities through advocacy, research program, and capacity-building. Shuchona Foundation was founded by Saima Wazed Hossain (also the Chairperson of respective organization), the daughter of Hon'ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Shuchona Foundation's headquarters is situated at Dhanmondi in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The Organization was one of the co-organizers of the international conference 'Autism and Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (ANDD2017)' held in Thimphu, Bhutan from 19-21 April, 2017.
