BGIFT Institute of Science & Technology (BIST) is a private technical & management oriented institute located at the heart of Gazipur city, Bangladesh and affiliated with the National University, Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB), and Panjab Technical University. It was established on January 16, 2008. The institute is directed by ORBIT Education Development Foundation. BGIFT Institute of Science & Technology is considered as an emerging hub for technical & management in the country. It offers various courses in the arena of professional skill oriented technologies.

BGIFT Institute of Science & Technology (BIST) offers following courses/programs:

1. MBA/MSc in Fashion Technology:
Admission Eligibility: Minimum graduate/equivalent degree (CGPA at least 3.00 or total 7.00 points up to graduate level).

2. BBA/B.Sc. (Hon's.) Programs:
* B.Sc. (Hon's). in Interior Design
* B.Sc. (Hon's) in Fashion Design & Technology (FDT)
* B.Sc. (Hon's) in Apparel Manufacture Technology (AMT)
* B.Sc. (Hon's) in Textile Design
* B.Sc. (Hon's) in Jewelry Design
Admission Eligibility: S.S.C, H.S.C/equivalent degree with at least 3.00 GPA and admission test score.

3. Medical Technology Programs:
* Pathology
*Pharmacy
Admission Eligibility: S.S.C, H.S.C/equivalent

4. Diploma Courses:
* Post Graduate Diploma in Apparel Merchandising (APM)
* Diploma in Apparel Manufacture Technology (AMT)
* Diploma in Fashion Design & Technology (FDT)
* Diploma in Apparel Engineering and Production Planning (AEPP)
Admission Eligibility: Graduate/equivalent degree from any recognized university in home and abroad and admission test score.

5. Certificate Courses:
* Certificate in Woven Garment Merchandising
* Certificate in Knitwear Merchandising
* Certificate in Sweater Merchandising
* Certificate in Fashion Design
* Certificate Course on Quality Control in Apparel Industry
* Certificate Course on Production Management
* Certificate Course in Industrial Pattern Making & Computer Aided Design
Admission Eligibility: H.S.C/equivalent and graduate degree.

Generally, the Institute admits students twice in a year – January to June semester, and July to December semester.
