State University of Bangladesh (SUB) is a private university located in Dhaka, Bangladesh. It has been approved by the Ministry of Education and University Grants Commission of Bangladesh; and affiliated with the Pharmacy Council of Bangladesh, and Institute of Architects Bangladesh (IAB). SUB’s owned/main campus is situated at Dhanmondi in Dhaka. State University of Bangladesh was established in the year 2002 under the Private University Act 1992. It offers a number of graduate and undergraduate programs related to the field of arts, business, engineering, media, environmental science, and health science. The university follows semester system; three semesters in a year i.e. spring, summer and fall. Professor Dr. Iftekhar Ghani Chowdhury is the Vice Chancellor of State University of Bangladesh.
