Bangladesh Society for Human Resource Management (BSHRM) is the only government registered organization for the Human Resource (HR) professionals in Bangladesh. The Society was registered by the Registrar of Joint Stock Company, Government of Bangladesh, under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. BSHRM was established in December 2001 and got inauguration from the then Honourable President of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh in April 2002.
Bangladesh Society for Human Resource Management looks forward to developing the HR professionals and promoting the best practices of modern HR systems in the Country. BSHRM is a vibrant member of the Asia Pacific Federation of Human Resources Management (APFHRM), an apex body of World Federation of People Management Association (WFPMA). The ultimate objective of this Society is to elevate HR professionals through proper training, development, education, networking, research, knowledge sharing etc. BSHRM regularly organizes Conference, training, workshop etc related its arena.
Bangladesh Society for Human Resource Management is run by an Executive Committee consists of a total of 15 members. At current, the Society has over 1200 Fellow, Associate and General Members. The HR Officers, Consultants, Executives, Legal Counsels, Faculty Members, Directors, Managers, Generalists, Students etc can be member of BSHRM. The President of this Society is Mr. Md. Musharrof Hossain, Head of Human Resources Management, International Centre for Diarrhoeal Disease Research, Bangladesh (icddr,b).
