Bangladesh Labour Welfare Foundation (BLF) is a non-profit and non-partisan NGO founded in 2001 by a group of trade union leaders and social workers to defend the rights of workers and promote capacity building of the trade unions in Bangladesh by undertaking diverse programs and projects. BLF is registered with the NGO Affairs Bureau, Department of Social Welfare, and Directorates of Youth and Sports of the Government of Bangladesh. It works in partnership with various NGOs and Social Organizations having same interest. Bangladesh Labour Welfare Foundation strives to work for the welfare and development of the workers and working-class people of Bangladesh. The Organization is also working in creating bridge with employers, trade unions, associations, civil society and the Govt. regarding labour market issues. The motto of Bangladesh Labour Welfare Foundation (BLF) is “Empowering Workers Right”.
